Classroom Preparation for Students

During July, the community will do serious cleaning to set up both buildings to make them suitable for the students to use when school starts in September.

Following the activities and tasks completed in the previous month (June), the month of July had two core activities completed: a video for our School Project in Borlorla Town and an assessment of the buildings or sites given by the community to use as classes for the students on our program.

Uploaded on both LLS and TJNCLB Facebook and YouTube handles, the purpose of the video created is to solicit donations and support towards our Borlorla program and school project. Our last visit to Borlorla for the assessment process of the buildings or spaces provided for use as classes for the fifty selected beneficiaries was in July. The Town chief and a few of his officers presented two buildings to be used as classes – the old church edifice and the new church building. According to the chief, the old church building is completely set aside for our program while the new building will be partly used.
